  • Men born after December 31, 1959, are required to register with Selective Service.

  • You must have a Top Secret national security clearance from the GSA security office and complete a single scope background check before being appointed to this critical-sensitive national security role.

  • Unless the necessary probationary period has already been completed, the chosen candidate will be subject to a one-year probationary period in the Senior Executive Service.

  • The Ethics in Government Act of 1978 mandates that the chosen candidate file an SF-278, Public Financial Disclosure Report, within 30 days of being appointed.

  • Executive Order 12564 designates this position as being subject to random drug testing. After being appointed to this SES position, you might be randomly tested for drugs if you are chosen for this function. Retention of employment will be subject to a negative test outcome.

Requirements

  • To be admitted into the Senior Executive Service, an applicant must meet the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs). Your resume needs to demonstrate that you have the five ECQs. SES ECQs has further details about the Executive Core Qualifications.


  • You are required to submit a supplemental narrative statement that addresses each of the following Mandatory Technical Competencies (MTCs) separately, in addition to your resume. If you do not submit this extra narrative, your application will not be taken into consideration. Your CV may also include proof of your MTCs.

Technical competency that is mandatory (MTC):


MTC 1: Shown experience in managing corporate transformation and implementing large-scale technology, including automation, agile processes, cloud, low-code/no-code, full stack development, systems engineering, and Dev/Sec/Ops principles to enable quick delivery.


MTC 2: Proven track record of spearheading the adoption of cutting-edge, novel, or developing technology within enterprises, including collaboration with non-technical executives and technology teams to execute and expand.


MTC 3: Proven ability to spearhead the creation and execution of enterprise-wide technology strategies, guaranteeing that technology consistently enhances services, goods, and business results for employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
