The Cart Attendant is an essential element of the golf operations team at the facility. They handle the fleet of golf carts and other tasks as assigned, reporting directly to the General Manager or Golf Shop Supervisor.


Qualifications, Required Knowledge and Skills:


  • Strong guest/customer orientation is required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required.

  • Need to be trustworthy

  • A pleasant disposition and enjoyment of dealing with the public are required.

  • A basic understanding of golf rules is ideal.

  • Able to understand and implement the policies, rules, and regulations of the course

  • The capacity to obey written and spoken directions

  • Capacity to use tools and equipment safely and correctly


Role Accountabilities:


  • Keeps a polished appearance

  • Carts are brought from the cart barn in the morning and returned there at the end of the day. After each use, the carts are cleaned, watered, and restocked as needed.

  • Maintains and cleans the cart barn

  • Make sure the carts are always available for usage by the players.

  • Receives complaints and forwards them to the golf shop

  • Closely collaborates with golf shop employees to plan and run golf competitions

  • Carries out and supports all initiatives and policies for the course that are announced by management.

  • Carries out additional tasks as directed by a management or supervisor
