Over 350 people are recruited by us each year for our Back to School Summer program. For Monkhouse, back-to-school season (BTS) is the most crucial trade time. During this time, the company provides its clients with the best products and services to make sure their kids are prepared for the upcoming school year.

We take great satisfaction in employing students as first-time workers and play a vital part in providing them with the chance to study, advance their skills, and strengthen their resumes—all of which they will need for future employment.


The qualities you must possess in order to join our vibrant team are listed below.

Responsibilities:

Throughout your tenure with us, you will be paired with an experienced colleague who will provide you with comprehensive instruction on every task.


  • Assisting clients by making sure they have the appropriate uniforms, colors, and sizes for their kids.

  • Handling the cash register, accepting payments and packing orders for clients.

  • Arranging the store and inventory area, including dusting and vacuuming.

  • Logging stock into our stock control system and monitoring deliveries.

  • Replenishing the shop's inventory and unpacking merchandise from deliveries.

  • Taking calls and responding to inquiries from clients.

We take seriously the duty we have to be sustainable, and we can only achieve our sustainability goals if we all work together completely.


We want you to incorporate the following five items into your regular duties:


  1. When not in use, turn off the lights in the area.

  2. Turn off computers each day at the end of the day.

  3. Steer clear of single-use plastic water bottles if at all possible.

  4. Make sure the kettle is only filled to the desired number of cups of hot beverages.

  5. Make responsible use of our recycling procedures when disposing of rubbish.
